आ वो बनाए स्कूल बहेतेर ये ब्लोग से! - अम्बेर
Each morning, when i wake, i pray,i place my hands in God's today,I know he will walk close by my side,My every wandering close to guide...
I went to school....for the first time when i was 3 years old (nursery) with those tiny tots crosses in green colour over white cloth...the first thing that i can recollect is the ground in front of Old Building..with 2 parallel bar one on LHS and the other on RHS....from 1982 till 1997 saw that ground almost daily!
Was not only sad when was leaving the school that i will be no longer coming to this lovely place but was sad because of the fact that the school was the then in the hands of barbers and barbarians...thats the Plight that doom over-ride the Pride that one would have for his / her school.....
Last week (13th Jan 2007) went to school and was very sad and disappointed to see each of our very own teachers (if one can remember Parvin teacher, Bakhtavar teacher, sudhakaran sir, anila teacher .. our dear aaya masi) were so down and deprived by the condition of school that were just waiting for the retirement rather than talking about the future....the nostalgic streets of shahpoor and chauta bazar our very own ground in Surat...but then no one can blame them because they have tried their level best but we all know for what reasons...the once Parsi school have now hardly 40 odd parsis in it...and condition of school going down by every day....
But then all said and done....we can't forget the masalla pow that we all had...the jelly pow and the pastries of Persian bekri! Let us re-unite through this blog and ensrue that the wonderful memories that we have does not wash away with the time. It is wonderful to see that our teachers are also taking interest in sharing their views over the blog. Lets ensure that we use the technology to it's optimum extent and be together.
Keep blogging and keep the our school alive through your feedback..Check out pictures of our school too!

Plus...there are lot of pictures behind the small (thumbnail) image seen on the page...you will have to click this image to see more....Note: You can view these pictures either by clicking the thumbnail image (recommended since here, pictures have comments associated with them)or can also view through the slide show... Whats more with active efforts from our ex-school mates we are getting more affermative and pictorial content on the blog! No matter how beautiful the blog has been decorated the core and important part is the content , and with such valuable pictures of our teachers from Seema Suneja the blog is taking perfect shape and is going in right direction. We should all thanks her for her effort of visiting school and getting these pics! Thanks Seema... keep blogging.
